Choi Kang Hee (32) appears in Marie Claire magazine this month. In a moody black and white fashion spread, she dons both androgynous and classic feminine looks. My two favorite looks are the black one shoulder dress by Loewe with elbow length gloves reminiscent of Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s and the slouchy black pantsuit by Bottega Veneta paired with the metallic sneakers by Lanvin. I also think the giant Swarovski necklace is a bold statement piece for the daring fashionista. The Chanel outfit at the end is my least favorite. Individually the pieces could work, but together it’s confusingly horrid.

Choi Kang Hee plays the title role in the upcoming movie, Aeja, a 29 year old single woman who dreams of being a novelist. In the comedy, Aeja’s mother tries to marry off her immature daughter. Bae Soo Bin who recently completed the role of Jun Se in Brilliant Legacy plays her boyfriend. Enjoy the short trailer at the end of the post.

Actress Han Hye Jin (27) appeared in this month’s issue of Marie Claire Korea. She recently appeared as the lead character in the drama Terrior. Her role in the drama Jumong, Prince of the Legend garnered her many fans. She has been cast as the lead in a new drama Jejoongwon [제중원], which was the first modern hospital in Korea established during the Joseon era (1886). She looks beautiful in this casual neutral themed photoshoot. I especially like her shorter layered hair cut.
